From Clinic to Community: Reimagining Public Health w/Dr. Diana Ramos, California Surgeon General
Dr. Diana E. Ramos, California’s Surgeon General and the state’s leading public health spokesperson, is dedicated to improving mental health, reducing Adverse Childhood Experiences, and addressing maternal mortality. The first Latina to hold this role, she has led major statewide and national health initiatives and spent over 30 years providing reproductive care as an OB-GYN. Dr. Ramos holds an MD from USC, an MPH from UCLA, and an MBA from UC Irvine, and has been recognized with multiple public health leadership awards.
